Professional Academic Mediation Instruction

Mr. Rainwater is a St. Mary's University School of Law-trained mediator. He studied under San Antonio attorneys Barry Beer, Rob Eichelbaum, and Dan Naranjo. Originally from Minnesota, Mr. Rainwater has extensive experience in advertising, real estate, sales, security, mortgage banking, and customer service. He received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Minnesota in 1989 and his J.D. from San Antonio's St. Mary's University School of Law in 2001.

Mr. Rainwater mediated cases in Bexar County (San Antonio), Texas, for over 14 years and was a frequent pro bono mediator for the Dispute Resolution Center, achieving the 10-Year Service Award. As a past Hearing Officer for the San Antonio Housing Authority, he determined the termination or retention of program tenants under investigation by the Authority. He heard and ruled upon over 140 individual cases. Authority matters are conducted and arbitrated under the Code of Federal Regulations. Mr. Rainwater was also a reserve attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration. He currently mediates matters in Minnesota. Mr. Rainwater is available to mediate both locally and nationally.
